1984 -2005: Private practice specializing in Interpersonal Violence providing group, family and individual therapy for victims, non offending parents and perpetrators of Sexual Abuse. Group therapist for Children witnessing Domestic Violence. Group Therapist for females convicted of domestic violence.  Contract after care provider for Atascadero State Hospital Sex Offender Treatment Program and California Conditional Program for the Criminally Insane. Expert Witness (Humboldt and Del Norte Counties) Superior Court in areas of Child Sexual Abuse, Sexual Abuse Allegations, Sex Offender Treatment, Separation, Attachment and Custody. Supervisor for LCSW and MFCC interns.

 

1974-1984 - Social Worker, Field Representative and Supervisor - Children's Home Society of California. Duties included: Counseling with pregnant teenagers, placement of older children for adoption and supervision of special needs children in adoptive placement. Therapist with the Child Sexual Abuse Treatment Program. Developed services to Adolescent Sex Offenders.

 

1973-1974 Employed by YWCA as Social Worker with Teen Mother Program.
